What type of glue can I use to put two papers together before I laminate them?

Sarah asked:

I’m making a poster and then I’m planning to laminate it. What kind of glue should I use to make the poster, so that when I laminate it will get ruined?

I use a pritt stick when doing this sort of thing, any glue stick will work.

    Hi,
Since you are laminating them I would just use a simple glue stick. That way your paper won’t warp and get bubbled on you. I do this all the time when I am laminating items for my classroom and I have found that it works really well.

Since you are laminating it, I’d suggest you use double-sided tape to hold the pieces in place. It works better than even a glue stick.

Those little glue sticks sometimes make huge glommy lumps between two pieces of paper.

There is a spray can of spray glue made just for this purpose. The pages will stick together well and it will be smooth and invisible.
